Upcycled Celluloid Angel Bookmark - Blessed Are the Pure in HeartStarting with a C. 1900 Antique Edwardian celluloid bookmark bearing the image of an angel, I upcycled it into a mixed media ornament. Blessed are the Pure in Heart is the proverb and the piece is rather lengthy at 6" (without the ribbon top bottom); width is 2 11 16". The front design also displays a multiple heart embellishment; the reverse displays more of the same as well as a modern day image of an angel in a cloud. A One of a Kind piece! Sorry

The leafy ends are composed of Mint Green Silk

What I liked most about the ornaments was that they were reinforced at the back with cardboard - this way

The border of the heart is filled with what I believe to be glass half pearls but I may be wrong on this

Size is 5-5/8" high x 3-7/16" when flat

The fabric is pretty much consistent in coloring and the overall look of the piece is pretty darn nice
