The condition of the feet is good and stable with no attempts to try to re-paint or gesso

the whole in original condition surviving from the second quarter of nineteenth century England

the carcass with three further drawers to the base each with ebonised lozenge escutcheons

Primarily the pieces are Georgian though there are later additions where they have been altered to fit a different room setting

She remains sturdy for daily use and we have given the piece a light polish to the ebonised finish
