Jacques Carillon Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Champs Canet' 2022A discreet application of wood sets off cool and layered aromas of the essence of white orchard fruit, citrus confit and acacia blossom. There is again fine richness to the medium bodied flavors that retain better detail on the mineral driven and focused finish that delivers sneaky good length. This isn't exactly chiseled but it's close and a wine that should repay up to a decade of keeping. OUTSTANDING. 91 93 points, Drink 2028+, Allen Meadows,
