Antique Japanese Military Infantry Collar Tab Army Sake BottleThis is an antique Japanese military sake bottle, decorated with some cherry blossoms, a collar tab with the number "10" on it the red indicating this is infantry, and the words "Leaving the service commemoration" under the tab. The words on top are "Among men, warriors" a phrase from a Japanese proverb. Condition: Mint Size: 6" tall x 2" across

The maker's mark for Shobido is on the back

The cup is made of bakelite

This is most likely the first Katori - the battleship that was decommissioned in 1923

and the Kirishima was the ship that the emperor was on for the review - thus the profile on top

and the words "Showa 8th Year (1933)" "Victorious Return Commemoration" and "68th Artillery Regiment" with the name of the soldier Okada Gendo

The soldier's name Oda is on the back
