Description

Symphyotrichum shortii (Short's Aster)An aster of savannas and woodlands, Short's Aster thrives in dry mesic to dry soils with good drainage. It is distinguished from similar asters by larger light blue flowers, smooth margined leaves that come to a distinct point and narrow petioles.
