The stock shackles are stamped out of thin metal and use a rubber bushing which both allow for a flexy component that also binds as it cycles since the rubber bushings are vulcanized into the shackle. Our TIG shackles are a fabricated boxed gusseted design from 4130 chromoly that is much stronger than mild steel and use polyurethane bushings that pivot

Over time this added angle causes additional wear on the lower ball and socket configuration

It is one of those kits that has a ½” thick strut spacer along with a taller billet preload collar
