Domaine Chapuis Aloxe-Corton 2020 (6-Bottle-Pack);$360/btl93 Decanter Lifted and lithe, lively but direct on the palate, straight and focussed, softly expanding with each sip to give more nuance of red bramble and summer berry fruit, liquorice and toasted spices. Black pepper and wild herbs also mingle on the palate with high acidity giving a push pull of flavour and texture. Confident and harmonious with a long penetrating finish. Feels classy and elegant, yet still giving power and forward motion. First
